Getting ready for our new addition

We are all set for baby A.J to arrive. The nursery is complete and our hospital bags are packed. We are patiently waiting to meet this bundle of joy. We had some photos taken at 38 weeks. I will post them as soon as we get them. I do have a couple the photographer sent me. Here is one of our favs.

Swimming with A.J

It is always nice to take a little weight off of my feet, so I try and take advantage of swimming whenever I can. I did not realize that my husband had an underwater camera that we had left over from a trip. He decided to snap a few pics underwater without me knowing until I saw him come up for air giggling. My mom saw the pic and said "you need to post that on your blog." Here Goes! Introducing A.J Stokely at 37 weeks in the pool.

A.J's Nursery

We are just putting the finishing touches on A.J's nursery. Everything is almost here. So many people have asked us about it, and I was anxious to post pictures prior to us finishing. Enjoy!

Boating

It finally cooled off enough today to enjoy some boating on the Chesapeake Bay. Alan, Charlie (our dog), and I packed up a cooler and ventured out. The day was beautiful. I am glad I threw my camera in my bag as I was able to get a couple of great shots. As you will notice, Charlie passed out on top of his moms things.

35 Weeks Dr's Appt

Alan and I went the Doctors yesterday to see our little guy on the sonogram one last time before he enters the world. The Doctor indicated that all looked really good. He is facing down and in good position for delivery. He did not want to cooperate with the doctor and have his picture taken. I told her he moves like that all day long. I feel like I have the punt kicker from a football team inside of me. He finally decided to look our way and the Doc snapped a photo. You can only see part of his face, but it is still pretty amazing. The cord is covering some of his face if you are wondering what that is in the way. Alan and I are getting more and more excited each day. I have little to no energy and the nausea is back in full force with the peak in hormones. It will all be worth it come September. Love you all!!!

Portrait of Charlie

Alan and I thought it would be cute to have a picture of our dog "Charlie" in A.J's room. After all they are going to grow up together. The picture was completed today and we wanted to share it with everyone. On another note...the furniture will be delivered tomorrow so pictures of the nursery will be coming soon!

First Georgia Bulldog Blanket and Booties

Alan was so excited to receive a Georgia Bulldog blanket from a co-worker. He stated "A.J will have to wear this on each game day." Check it out!
