Alan's 40th Birthday in Tybee Is land Georgia

We had a wonderful time in Georgia celebrating Alan's birthday with his family and friends.

Baby's First Doctors Visit

Alan and I were anxiously awaiting our first doctor's appointment on 01/22/08. I started to develop morning sickness during my sixth week so I was really excited for this appointment to talk to the doctor about what I could do. Needless to say, they put me on meds to help with the nausea. Alan was a little nervous but he was a trooper. While waiting for me to get dressed he proceeded to spell check one of the doctor's office pamphlets and indicated they could invoice him or take it off the bill. When we had our sonogram and were able to see the "butterbean" both of our hearts skipped a beat in awe and amazement at what a blessing and miracle. After being able to see our little baby we were able to hear its heartbeat. HOW AMAZING! We will be posting pictures soon! Our next appointment is in two more weeks.
