Daddy and Trisha Chattin

Our Little Princess

Trisha is almost 5 months old and we have been trying to cherish every "first" with her because we know how fast they grow. She is an absolute angel. She smiles and coos from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to sleep.

Poor Doggie Charlie

Charlie doesn't get the attention he used to. Alan was on the floor playing with the kids and Charlie jumped in his lap just like old times.

Big Girl Toys

Trisha has advanced from her floor mats to bigger and exciting toys. She will sit and play for an hour at a time just as happy as she can be. Usually you can find AJ close by.

First Little Snow

We got an inch of snow and AJ was determined to get out to make a "manman." He and hid daddy went out in the freezing cold for a good hour and a half. They had a great time even with the small bit of snow.

Where's Waldo?

AJ had his Christmas pageant at his pre-school. I am not sure he was 100% sure of what was going on. They painted his nose red and put reindeer antlers on him. He was doing great until his class was headed off stage and he saw his daddy. He started crying and was done with the pageant. It was so much fun to see AJ sing songs or try to sing songs. His favorite songs to sing are "jingle bells" and "twinkle twinkle little star."

A Visit with Santa

We decided to try and get some pics with Santa this year. Last year, AJ took one look at Santa and screamed his head off. We got in the long line to wait. I told Alan to walk AJ up so he could see Santa. I should have known that the screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO." was a good indication of what was going to happen when we put AJ on Santa's lap. Trisha was a little angel and couldn't figure out that big hairy face Santa had. AJ no sooner got on his lap and got right off. On the way home all AJ wanted to talk about was Santa.

Thanksgiving

We decided to head south this Thanksgiving to Savannah to visit some of Alan's family. Right before our trip Trisha got a double ear infection and I started to get a sore throat. We didn't let that stop us. We drove 11 hours on Thanksgiving day. The kids did great in the car. No fussing and only 3 stops. I must admit that Barney/Wiggles/Elmo played in my dreams the next few nights after listening to them almost the entire way. We had so much fun visting with MeMe, Aunt April, Aunt Sherry and their families. We also got to visit with some of Alan's friends. Savannah is so beautiful and it was fun taking AJ and Trisha to see where their Dad is from. It was a great trip!

Best Friends

AJ has developed such a love for his baby sister. He loves being with her and helping out with her. It is so sweet to watch them laugh and smile at each other.
