Beach Baby

AJ went to Vanderbilt Beach today. He loved sitting in his little seat under the umbrella. We took him for a nice walk on the beach as well. The Gulf was quite cold but we did get his tootsies wet.

AJ's first vacation

Alan, AJ and I are so fortunate to be able to take a wonderful vacation to Naples, FL with my mom and dad Maw Maw and Pop Pop.

AJ was a champ on his first plane ride. I was sweating it all day long. You always see or hear horror stories about the baby the cried the entire time. AJ slept the entire flight and 30 minute ride from Ft. Myers to Naples.

He is having so much fun. AJ absolutely LOVES the pool. He is like a little motor boat. Stay tuned for more pics from our trip.

AJ's first Christmas

Christmas 2008 was very special for us as it was AJ's first Christmas. Alan couldn't wait to play Santa Claus. He made sure I made cookies to leave out for Santa. Alan ran out in the madness on Christmas Eve to get the book "Twas the Night Before Christmas." We got home from church so late that AJ was passed out, but we read in anyways. Santa and our family and friends were very generous to AJ. He received toys, clothes, a sled, and Barney DVD's. For those of you who don't know, Barney is AJ's favorite show. He will sit in front of the TV in his seat for two hours at a time and laugh away. We hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed holiday.

A few Holiday Photos

AJ has had a busy December! Here are some pictures of our recent happenings. AJ went to visit his Dad at work and was able to sit in the cockpit of a Gulfstream. He also went to visit a local store that has a huge train display and was mesmerized each time it came by as was his Dad. We really can't get enough of him. Even when he naps we are always anxious for him to wake up.

Preparing for Christmas

We are so excited for our first Christmas as a family with little man AJ. We put our tree up and AJ loves looking at the lights. His stocking is hung and ready to be filled with lots of goodies. Alan said AJ told him he wanted a trainset. We shall see if Santa puts one under our tree. Here are some Christmas photos we had taken.. Enjoy!
