Not sure who had more fun this Christmas

Christmas was an absolute blast this year. AJ loved all of the Christmas decorations and surprisingly after a couple of "no no" he did not touch them. We spent Christmas morning here at our house. We set up one of his big gifts which was his ball pit Christmas Eve. When he came down Christmas morning he was not interested in anything besides playing in the ball pit. We did manage to get him out and open up the rest of his presents. We had brunch here and headed down to Maw Maw and Pop Pop's to visit with the rest of the family. AJ partied hard with his cousins. We ate tons, laughed, and enjoyed being surrounded by love and family.

Let's Play Catch!

The highlight of the day was AJ in his sled and the men playing catch with him. Take note of him raising his arms and clapping as he slides through the snow. What a GREAT day!

Annapolis MD was dumped with just about 20 inches of snow. This is AJ's first major snowstorm. Last year when he was 4 months we got a few inches to take him out and play in. We all got bundled up and ventured out to play. AJ was all smailes and very curious about the snow. He wanted his gloves off so he could actually feel the snow. He was hysterical to watch walking in his snowsuit and boots. Charlie was also excited to get out and about. All of our neighbors were out and everyone helped each other dig out.

ICE!

We took AJ with the family to see ICE at the National Harbor. Everything was so new for him. Ice sculptures everywhere that he could go around and touch. One area in the exhibit had slides made of ice. I decided to take AJ down the slide. When we got to the top I was told I couldn't go down with him. The lady assured me it was safe and he had to lay on his back. As I looked down I could see Alan waiting in anticipation. I think he was a bit surprised to see AJ come down the ice slide alone. As you will see on the video he forgot to turn it off.
AJ is gonna be a big brother!

Into Everything

I decided to make AJ his own drawer in the kitchen. All of the other cabinets have baby latches except AJ's drawer. When I am in the kitchen cooking etc, he will get his things in his drawer out and put them back in. The other night Alan and AJ were home and Alan went to see what AJ was doing. Check it out!
