First Birthday Photo Shoot!

We decided to do the same thing as we did with AJ and have Trisha's first birthday pictures taken at our home. Since it is so hard to get all of us looking at the camera these days we decided to put the talented Heather Owents to the test and take our family pic. Here are a few teasers she sent us.

AJ got a new pair of rainboots and wanted to try them out after a much needed summer rain!

Potty Training Resumes

We tried potty training a bit too early. AJ has now showed us he is ready by wanting his messy diapers off and going in the bathroom on his own. Here are some pictures from our latest potty training adventures.

Beach Fun

We love going to Maw Maw and Pop Pop's beach to find seashells and sharks teeth. It is hard to keep up with two at the beach.

The Drawer

So it is official...Trisha has discovered "the drawer." I have tried to hide it as long as possible. I was able to hide it from AJ until he was 14 months and Trisha 11 months. Here are pictures of both of them exploring in the drawer.

AJ loves to try on his Dad's shoes. It is hard to believe that someday he will fit them.

4th of July Weekend Fun!

We spent the 4th of July weekend celebrating with family and friends! AJ and Trisha thought they were at one big party. Trisha absolutely loved the fireworks. Here we were worried she would be cranks since she was up way past her 7:30 bedtime. AJ did fine but needed constant reassurance that everything was ok. It was so fun to watch their reactions.

Family Boating Fun!

We decided to venture out as a family on our boat for the first time this season. It was a bit challenging at times as Trisha wanted to get into everything. AJ did great and loved helping Alan drive the boat. We look forward to more summer boating adventures.
